Ms. Uma Reddy is an Electrical Engineer from UVCE, Bangalore, is the Managing Director, of M/S Hitech Magnetics & Electronics Pvt Ltd. A first generation technocrat entrepreneur, who started her career, while at college and manufactures custom built transformers, coils, inductors, electronic sub-assemblies, cable harnesses, surveillance net solutions, etc. Her company won the Performance Award as best supplier from GE Medical Systems, South Asia in 2001, Kirloskar Best Supplier Award in 2005, ABB Safety award in 2007 & 2011. She has also won a National award for Women Entrepreneurs, 2001 & has received the Rajyotsava award in 2005 for her contribution to society.
