We are excited to note that WEConnect International is completing 5 years of operation in India this year and owe our success to our women businesses, corporate members and our 50+ outreach partners.
While we reach this very important milestone in our journey, we would like to thank each one of stakeholders for their contribution towards our growth and announce the following awards to recognize their efforts of our Women Business Enterprises, Outreach Partners and Local Corporate Members.
WEInspire
WEConnect International-India announces WEInspire Awards to recognize the most inspiring Certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) in WEConnect International-India’s network at ThinkBig, to be held on 06th December 2019 at Mumbai.
Selection Criteria:
- Must be a current WEConnect International certified WBE registered in India
- Have proven success in business and be known for high integrity in her industry/community
- Have demonstrated engagement with WEConnect International corporate members incountry and/or globally, attendance at matchmaking and/or meet the member events, and/or engagement with other WBEs/WOBs in the WEConnect International network
- Have demonstrated potential for growth over the next several years
- Have demonstrated mentorship/guidance of other WOBs, provides support or connections to fellow business owners; and/or o Have demonstrated social impact initiative or give-back program/efforts in the community
WEReach
WEReach award will honour that one Outreach Partner who has helped us with the most number of connections with the right women entrepreneurs during 2019. The winner will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Number of women businesses referred to WEConnect International network in 2019
- Outreach towards our various events such as ThinkBig, Walmart’s WEDP and various Supplier Diversity Meets and programs during 2019.
